Hailing from Melbourne, Victoria, four-piece band Stimpies emanate vibes of bright skies and blue waters.

Stimpies share their personal sound to create an undeniable surf rock experience. Consisting of drummer and backing vocalist Ethan Robins, bassist Bec Wigg, lead guitarist and lead vocalist Ned McKenna and guitarist Xavier Ambrosius, Stimpies have proven through packed live shows and an average of 2,000 monthly listeners on Spotify that their fan base loves what they provide. Stimpies’ music and aesthetic embodies an exploration of the Australian lifestyle, the burn of the seatbelt getting into your car in 45-degree weather, and the refreshing and repetitious comfort of wave after wave at the beach.

Starting out in April 2019, the band released their self-titled EP by December of the same year, along with a sold out launch at Wrangler Studios which catapulted their name in the Melbourne scene. Early January 2020, Stimpies played at Exude Group’s own U:Time Festival and a bushfire benefit concert at the Gasometer Upstairs with local legends The Grogans, following that with a Pure Nowhere show featuring Melbourne staples The Belair Lip Bombs, Velvet Bloom and The Grogans.
